Buraka Som Sistema European MTV music award winning Buraka Som Sistema are my next focus. The Portugal based outfit formed in 2006 and are pioneering the 'Kuduro' genre into mainstream ears. 'Kuduro' is an progression from 'Batida' and generally involves reggae, house, hip-hop influences with uptempo, energetic African beats.
