Soul Asylum was in town here in Boston for Earthfest , a music/greening festival hosted by WBOS. With only a few hours of hard labor to put in on Saturday, Tommy Stinson (now on bass for SA) and Dave Pirner sandwiched in some play - and playing - at the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain at the Figgs sold-out two-night stand.
