DOUG AND THE SLUGS It's such a damn shame that Doug and The Slugs were never bigger in the states. And everywhere else. Started in 1977 in Vancouver, Canada by newspaper editor/cartoonist Doug Bennett . Their first album, titled Cognac and Bologna, was released in 1980.
