EPIC Green Day show last night at the Music Box in LA. They are perhaps the most unexpected truly great band of their generation. When Dookie came out in 1994 they seemed to be one of those bands in the right place at the right time, capitalizing on the rise of "alternative" rock on the heels of Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc breaking big.
