Boston's The Big Heavy has it figured out. This is how rock should sound, at least to me anyway. Five guys-vocalist Tim Day, guitarists Ben Slattery and Dan Perlman, Matt Karasch on bass & vox, and drummer Mansour Bethoney-will have you drawing comparisons to numerous rock heavies with their hard-driving sound, especially on Midnight Waters from their Bombs Away EP. Only four songs, but quality damn sure beats quantity with this band.
