Spookey Ruben has been around the Southern Ontario indie scene for quite some time. In fact I first recall seeing him open for The Flaming Lips at the Opera House in Toronto in 1995. Well good old Spookey is back with a brand new album, Mechanical Royalty. The new album is a melange of maligned retro musical styles.
