<p>The Matador Records <a href=" http://twitter.com/matadorreco rds" target="_blank">Twitter feed</a> has a number of links to Sonic Youth pictures from their Letterman appearance yesterday, which coincided with a weeklong set of clips on Pitchfork.tv. The band performed the opening track from their new album, <em>The Eternal,</em> which is titled "Sacred Trickster." <br /><br />The brief song features some awful Elaine Benes-style mom dancing from Kim Gordon, although the rest of the band members maintain their cool, with Dave describing them as "seminal" before they begin. <em>The Eternal</em> is available now in a variety of formats (including <a href=" http://buyearlygetnow.com/info /7/" target="_blank">this</a> incredible set) [...]
