The Silversun Pickups' Carnavas was the shit, to be frank. I would go through days where those eleven tracks were all that I would listen to. Even the annoying, earache-inducing noise at the end of "Common Reactor" would get its fair share of play. So the release of Swoon found me much as the release of Bon Iver's Blood Bank did -- with me deliberately ignoring its presence for fear it would do injustice to its predecessor.
