by Kevin Diamond This is exciting! The inaugural Northside Festival has begun, and it's sort of like watching a young child take it's first steps. As opposed to some other city-spanning festivals like CMJ, Northside's greatest strength is that it is centered around one neighborhood (Williamsburg, duh!), meaning you can easily traverse from one show to another without missing something.
