In Film, There's a fundraiser screening of Joss Whedon 's clever cult classic, the Sci-Fi Western " Serenity " this weekend, organized by the Toronto chapter of the Browncoats, rabid fans of the film and the tragically short-lived series it was based on, 'Firefly". All proceeds from the screening and raffle (there's loads of Whedonesque prizes up for grabs) will go to Equality Now, an international NGO that promotes equal rights for women and girls.
