Blog: Subservient Experiment

Not too long ago I was impressed that a local talk radio station was using a cut by SubEx fav Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears as return music coming out of a break --only after a few seconds I realized that familiar riff sounded slightly off. This must be the original version of the song I thought, but further inspection into Black Joe's liner notes indicated that the song in question, "Gunpowder" was written by Joe and his bandmates.
