Resulta que el proyecto más reciente de Beck es uno llamado Record Club , en donde se dedica, junto con sus amigos, a grabar un disco clásico en una semana. Para la primera entrega toca el turno de The Velvet Underground & Nico , un disco por demás significativo para una etapa del rock que merece ser retomado por músicos virtuosos de nuestra época como Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker, Brian Lebarton, Bram Inscore, Yo, Giovanni Ribisi, Chris Holmes, Devendra Banhart, MGMT y Jamie Lidell entre bastantes otros.
