I am struck by the immediacy in which it happened. One day he is rehearsing for one of the biggest challenges in his professional career - a series of big budget concerts in England that would eventually, if deemed successful, parlay into a global tour. A man who would soon turn 51 years old, but whom we haven't seen actually perform since 2004, and that was a very brief cameo. Was he physically fit? Was he frail?
