If you remember in my article on Noah and the Whale's recent live performance (link) , I was upset because I felt "The songs from their debut were very acoustic and natural. It was full of violins, bells, acoustic finger plucking and cute girl boy harmonies. During the performance all the instruments were electric, so the intricate finger plucking that was present in all their songs was replaced by a mushy electric guitar.
