Today is a good day. Hours before the lads first single from Humbug was due to debut on Zane Lowes BBC radio show, I find a good mp3 floating around already. "Crying Lightning" is an absolute tune, one that really demonstrates the growth of the band. The song doesn't stray too far from the live version that the band have been playing live.....but it really shines in the studio version. Alex Turner's singing style has also changed, fitting the bands darker style better. I couldn't really be happier with the song, they did a great job with it. [...]
