Conor Oberst and his Mystic Valley Band dropped by Letterman last night to perform "Spoiled," a rousting song from their second album, Outer South. A lot of Outer South finds Oberst in sideman role, allowing his band members to take the spotlight. Not last night; he is front and center during the performance. Perhaps that was for the better. Outer South is out now.
