In perhaps one of the most necessary and welcome shifts in style, The Horrors metamorphosed from sloppy, obnoxious Cramps devotees to fuzzy, ethereal rockers in the vein of My Bloody Valentine and Lush. Primary Colours, the UK band's latest offering, finds them completely reinventing themselves in this fashion, both a successful and impressive feat. I am extremely grateful for this change in approach, as I found the band's original style both tiresome and annoying.
