Blog: The Shimm

If you read this blog often, you know that I rarely talk up the music coming out of La-La-Land. There's a good reason for that--the largest metropolitan area in the U.S. currently has a really shitty music scene. Full disclosure: I have spent all of one day or maybe 36 hours in Los Angeles--big ups to Hermosa (it is pretty!) and Manhattan Beach--so there's a chance that there is plethora of undiscovered non-emo rock bands out there that no one else ever hears outside of Los Angeles.
