neue töne (637): frànçois and the atlas mountains ein paar markierungen zunächst. der hier vorgestellte künstler frànçois tourte bereits mit thanksgiving, electrelane und camera obscura, spielte trompete bei rozi plain (fence records), movietone (domino) und crescent (fat cat). in 2004 veröffentlichte er auf stitch-stitch sein erstes soloalbum "les anciennes falaises". 2005 scharte er ein paar freunde um sich und nahm mit ihnen unter der fahne fránçois & the atlas mountains das album "the people to forget" auf, erschienen wiederum auf stitch-stitch. mit "brother" gab es ein jahr später bereits ein nachfolgealbum, das aber unveröffentlicht blieb (eine fünf track ep [...]
