Like most reverends, not all of Jon McClure's prophecies panned out quite right. Last August the Reverend and the Makers frontman announced his rather early retirement from the music industry, only to recant a few weeks later. The British music press, as salty and bipolar as your adolescent sister when she discovered "Britpop," fell pretty hard on McClure. Poor guy.
