The parade of stars for Temporary Pleasure , Simian Mobile Disco's sophomore album, continues with the Beth Ditto-feautring "Cruel Intentions," a seductive and restrained disco-fied track that finds Ditto in better performance than the Gossip's latest LP ( Music for Men ). Along with the guest assists from Jamie Lidell and Chris Keating from Yeasayer , Temporary Pleasure is setting up nicely. Temporary Pleasure is due out on Aug. 18 via Wichita. [ Stereogum ]
