Blog: Subservient Experiment

So Passion Pit has been nominated for a VMA for their video for The Reeling. Does this mean they are "mainstream" now? If so, how long have they been? Should I wish the best for the band and hope that they actually win a VMA, or secretly hope they are snubbed so as to retain a tiny shred of indie credibility?
