Here's something you've probably heard a few times before: The Verve has broken up. The news comes from a report in the the Sunday Mirror which quoted an unnamed "source" who claimed band members Simon Jones and Nick McCabe have not spoken to frontman Richard Ashcroft since performing at the V Festival in August last year.
