Last Friday, The Duchess and I saw The Big Surprise Tour. Justin Townes Earl. The Felice Brothers. David Rawlings Machine (feat. Gillian Welch). Old Crow Medicine Show. It was incredible. The show started with The Felice Bro's (and just about everyone else) doing "The Big Surprise" in a true wall of sound fashion. Justin played next. He and his mandolin playing co-performer sounded a bit like The Everyly Brothers while harmonizing.
