I've reached the point where I can no longer count the number of bands to which WOXY.com has introduced me. I consider myself pretty proactive in going out and listening to new music, and I also get a ton of PR emails and materials from bands, but it still seems as if the bulk of the new music that I discover comes from The Little Radio Station That Could. Even more impressive than introducing me to new bands, though, is the station's ability to get me to listen to types of music that I normally wouldn't. [...]
