Out today is Intuit from Ramona Falls, another solid release from the folks at Barsuk. Intuit opens with the rumble and ticks of "Melectric," revealing movement to be seen throughout this expansive recording. Cold acoustic stirrings open standout track, "Russia" before heading into a cloud hoping section pronounced by keys. Otherwise, "Bellyfulla" is the album favorite, embellished with kick and clean acoustic, background harmonies, airy space, and with a mood something close to resolution, even celebratory.
