Animal Collective's girls have gone to Pakistan -- and they've gotten a sex change. Sweden's Taken by Trees (Victoria Bergsman) recorded a cover of the Collective's "My Girls" -- and the rest of her new album, East of Eden­ -- in that country. The fusion makes the song interesting in a new way, with the exhilarating waves of sound replaced by the unfamiliar and refreshing use of Pakistani instruments.
