They're dropping like flies! According to numerous sources ( Austin Chronicle , Austin 360 , Austin Sound ), Sonic Youth will have to cancel both their Sunday evening ACL Festival performance, as well as their ACL Taping because of a broken wrist to guitarist Lee Renaldo. While there's no official confirmation yet from the band or their label ( Matador ), we'll hopefully hear an announcement from C3 in the near future regarding a replacement. Looks like we don't have to feel so guilty about seeing Dan Auerbach on Sunday evening now. [...]
