Freund Der Familie - "Symbian/ Pewars" [FDF004] (buy) Freund Der Familie is the alias of Berlin producers Klaus Rakete, & Mirko Hunger who make dub inspired techno via their own imprint FDF. Klaus & Mirko made a name for themselves after their limited - edition dubplate, "Sark" hit the shelves back in mid May 2008. "Sark" was a turning point for FDF & one that I found bridged the gap nicely between techno & dub. It was also an introduction for many, (including me) to Taron Trekka of whom had the pleasure of remixing "Sark" & which stood equally as tall on the flipside.
