
Yet another sign of the apocalypse? Portland's Starfucker will change its name in the very near future, and it's having a contest to decide on a new one. This is a bit baffling after the band successfully landed gigs soundtracking Weeds and commercials for Target and IBM: Those successes would suggest that the swap is not one based on economics (though "Starfucker" is not the most marketable of nomers, it would seem like a bad move for a band making moves on a national level to change its name).
