MATT AND KIM WIN A FUCKIN' MOON MAN Duo Win MTV's Breakthrough Video Award for "Lessons Learned" Video at 2009 VMA's New York, NY - Brooklyn's Matt and Kim were awarded MTV's Breakthrough Video award for their "Lessons Learned" music video by the moon man himself, Buzz Aldrin, at last nights 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The band beat out a slew of well-known nominee's in the category including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bat For Lashes, Cold War Kids, Passion Pit, Death Cab for Cutie, Gnarls Barkley and Chairlift among others.
