L IS FOR LHOOQ Ever heard of them? Thought not. Odd Scandinavian House from the late 1990s. Never knew that the peculiar name was rude. But thenI thought Duchamp was potty. According to discogs: Lhooq name comes from a Marcel Duchamp painting of Da Vinci's Monna Lisa with an added moustache. In true surrealist fashion, Lhooq should be spelled out in French: 'Elle a chaud au cul' which translates into 'Her arse's on fire' . Which is nice. Lhooq were Jóhann Jóhannsson and Pétur Hallgrímsson. [...]
