IGIF favorite Chad VanGaalen just released a Soft Airplane B Sides EP, now available free for download on his website . Lately, VanGaalen has taken time away from his usual pursuits to work on his electronic project Black Mold . Under that moniker, VanGaalen sounds as creepy and lovely as on anything he's done in the past under his own name, but I am glad he found time to release this 9-track collection of cuts that didn't make it onto Soft Airplane .
