What first attracted me to the group Das Racist (Himanshu Suri and Victor Vazquez) was not their popular "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell" , or that they are part of the current chapter of the "Wesleyan Mafia" (a term first made popular in 2002 by Patricia Grandjean for The New York Times , referring to a small enclave of young, up-and-coming Hollywood directors who all shared status as Wesleyan alumni).
