Fucked Up wins Canada's Polaris Prize

Fucked Up wins Canada's Polaris Prize Fucked up was awarded Canada's prestigious Polaris Prize yesterday, which is given every year to a Canadian artist or band. The jury found the band's 2008 album, Chemistry Of Common Life , to be not only the best hardcore album of the year and the best Canadian album, but also the best album in world . Admittedly, it is a really good album. It's a hardcore album, yes, but it's easily digested for those not used to the genre. Congrats to Fucked Up! I hope you spend your $20,000 on something nice. Like another good record. [...]
