The Craters are the project of Wes and Jared out of Newton South, Mass. whom handcraft jangly cuts that practically manifest in themselves an early morning sunrise on a country cabin porch. I suppose you could place this band with the recent-flooding of bands into the "chillwave" genre though I always hesitate on placing bands into trite genre-labels. The raddled loops The Craters create are oscillating bits of gold that rarely adhere to a form song-to-song and hint at a much promising future for this band.
