Julian Casablanca's new solo single sounds nothing like his work with The Strokes. Instead of serving up an expected brew of crunchy indie rock, Casablanca surprises fans with an '80s styled mash of synth-heavy dance-rock. Very good. With the Chris Cornell debacle fresh in mind, some may call Casablanca a sell-out. I like to call him progressive. Change is good. Let the remixes begin.
