Mono were a pop dance band, riding the trip hop wave in 1996/97. They produced some lovely stuff for anyone who ever liked St Etienne or Massive Attack's softer moments with Tracy Thorn. I know Moggieboy will think this all a bit dinner party pish but ignore him. Man cannot live by 130bpm alone. Mono were Martin Virgo and Siobhan de Maré.
