"The Spell" is the first song that I have heard from Alphabeat and I am absolutely in love with this Danish group. I missed their first album, but that might be a good thing since the band says they have moved to a new sound. This new sound is a shockingly successful combination of 1990's dance vocals and keyboards combined with the layers of synth that this decade throws into every indie pop song.
