Rocktoberfest 2009 This time last year The Pop Cop came up with an ingenious idea . Having noticed how outrageously attractive the Glasgow gig calendar was in the month of October, we appealed directly to the Lord Provost to declare 'Rocktoberfest' the official catch-all name for 31 days of live music in the city.
