I am upstairs at Pianos watching the Greycoats to start. They are a jangle-pop band from Minneapolis, under the same umbrella as our old friend Jeremy Messersmith. The guys are also completely without attitude and have the wonderfully fresh midwest charm. A definite see-again band, they are playing a few more shows this week, including a night time showcase at Spike Hill tonight at 10 pm. Greycoats go on directly before Unicycle Loves You, who are also playing the NYCTaper CMJ Show on Thursday. ...more to come...
