DoklandsTaut and skritchy, this is some top quasi-Middle Eastern jazz. I say "quasi" because Topaz, Friedlander's band for this project, is half American and half Japanese. I'm very fond of the way Wire seems to bounce between composed and improvised sections. It's taken from the 2003 album Quake . Erik Friedlander - Wire (alternate download)
