One of the things that separates Best Coast from the barrage of other lo-fi acts out there, is that even under all of the reverb, distortion and fuzz, you can still hear Bethany Cosentino's songwriting. That's even more evident in these two clips from The Tripwire where Best Coast performed two songs in a bathroom, next to a tub full of beer. Really, the absence of all of Cosentino's sonic scuzz only makes her talent more obvious. [ Twitter/Best Coast ]
