We're supposedly heading into a slower time of year for live music-- holidays, weather, and the slow new release calendar from here on out are all partially responsible. You'd never know it, though, looking at this week's calendar, featuring long established names like Mission of Burma, They Might Be Giants, Pinback, Black Heart Procession, Erin McKeown, and The Pixies (in Eugene, but not in Black Francis' garage).
