Blast from the Past: Elmopalooza This week Sesame Street is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Since I've spent most of the week celebrating the Slumberland 20th anniversary I've neglected the anniversary of what is most likely the most important kid's television show ever. I know for me personally I grew up on the show, watching Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, and Elmo (I was born the same month and year as Elmo!) teaching children their ABC's and 123's and so much more.
