So the new Relix magazine just turned me on to BLAKROC - a new album coming out featuring the Black Keys w/ guest spots by the RZA, Q-Tip, Mos Def ,Jim Jones among others. The whole thing came about when Damon Dash reached out to the Keys to have one of his artists (Jim Jones) collaborate with them on an album. Once they got going, Dash reached out to a variety of other MC's who all wanted to contribute to this unique outfit. The results are fittingly awesome.
