We've only just got around to thinking about challengers for The Pop Cop's top 10 albums of 2009 list and it's already proving a bit of a headfuck given that there are so many records which have come out this year that we really, really love. We won't spoil the fun by naming all the possible contenders here but it seems certain The Sounds' third album Crossing The Rubicon will feature prominently.
