Weekend:
This interesting, blistering bit of cathartic noise-rock comes courtesy of the group Weekend. The San Francisco quartet blaze through a song equal parts Isn't Anything and Interpol, ratcheting up the tension with each passing second. Just short of four and a half minutes, the song finally careens out of control, with rampaging snare hits and walls of feedback. This kind of sounds like being trapped in a tin can with a wolverine.
