Because Steven Colbert is the much better rapper, as evidenced by his verse yesterday during Alicia Keys' performance of "Empire State of Mind." Basically, he comes in about halfway through the song to fill in for the esteemed rapper, and spits some fire about his upper-class upbringing in the suburbs. And boy, did he spit that fire.
