A while ago I was introduced to Get Busy Committee , a group consisting of underground hip-hop heavyweights Apathy, Ryu and producer Scoop Deville. They formed GBC for fun and as a departure from their usual respective styles and soon enough, had a legit project with a full debut album. The first song I heard of theirs was "My Little Razorblade" which has them rapping over The Knife's hit "Heartbeats." Shortly after, their album Uzi Does It dropped and has since become one of my favorite albums of 2009. Featuring regular homages to the 80's and 90's [...]
